Built-in aluminum profiles for the easier functioning  of extension leaves of tables.

Despite the fact that we had only few complaints that were caused by the fact that sometimes the extension mechanism was blocked, we tried to implement an improvement.

While the normal pulling mechanism consists of two wooden rails that are hooked into  each other we have decided that, instead of the wooden rails we would use an aluminum rail. The advantage is a lower friction on the one hand and on the other hand the fact that the aluminum rails do not change their shape with the years, as wood does. The consequence is that, even after long years of use, the pulling mechanism works easily.

The pulley block extension systems used mainly for indoor furniture are easy to handle and are also sometimes used, but in our opinion, this system is not durable for outdoor furniture due to the fact that it may get dirty over time, maintenance (lubrication) is required and over time it rusts. Besides that, higher cost made us decide not use such systems. Our motto is "Keep it simple".
